Refs at Rice vs Baylor game tell audience to stop shooting lasers on the field.

During the game on a second down at the Baylor 15 yardline Rice was running a play and then all of a sudden a giant green laser beam hit the field for the duration of the play.

After the play the refs had a discussion with the coaches and then told the audience to stop shooting lasers on the field. It will be on youtube very soon.

I have a feeling that will be the main highlight on ESPN tonight.

Can't really see the laser but the ref will make you laugh.

Given th size and shape of the laser beam image on the field, I think the laser was actually at field level. It wouldn't have produced such a long image unless the beam was nearly parallel to the field surface. That wouldn't happen if it was someone in the stand holding the laser. Also, looking at the image, there should be no problem at locating exactly where it came from.
