He's been mocked by Walter to us in the 4th for months. Not necessarily him, but someone like him at this spot is what I'm looking for. Gotta keep Grant off the field on passing downs.

Side note. Hate to see RB Marlon Mack USF shooting up the mocks. Was hoping to steal him late.

If he's there @17 I would probably do it, even if one of the top RB's were there. I just never thought he would slip, but it appears he just might be there.

Don't see any way Gruden let's this team go guard in the 1st again, but I've seen some mocks with him to us @17. Probably gives us the 2nd best offensive line in football.

Not a bad showing on Pro Day
Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline relays that Colorado DL Josh Tupou "looked smooth and athletic" during drills at the program's pro day.
Tupou did not receive an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine, but tried his best to impress on pro day. He measured in at 6-foot-2, 353 pounds, with Pauline hearing that he would like to drop that weight down to a more manageable 335 pounds. In testing, the Colorado product logged 29 reps on the bench press and ran the 40-yard dash in the vicinity of the 5.3's, with a 10-yard split in the 1.9's. He met with the Jets, Redskins and Bucs on Wednesday. Pauline passes along that he has an official visit scheduled with the Seahawks and that the Patriots are additionally showing interest. Tupou could potentially hear his number called at the draft on Day 3.

The 40 time and 29 reps at 225 also caught my eye. Thinking he has nice low center of gravity at 6'2, likely great hand punch with his strength and weight with some quickness. I wouldn't mind him on our team in later rounds.

David Jones FS big athletic safety at 6-3 at 210. Good coverage skill with 4.3 forty time.. A ball hawk.

Blair Brown 6-0 240 mlb. Find the ball get the ball type of player. Like all late rd pick he has his weakness (Coverage) but he has instincts and should eventually be make some teams roster.

Glad safety was brought up as this is still a huge need. Cravens is totally unproven and switching positions and Swearinger has been cut twice and is best playing in the box. Fortunately this is supposed to be a good safety draft, they need a FS badly. I swear if they trot D Hall out once again I will have to laugh.
