I agree with the discipline taken. I would rather lose than not have the coach take the necessary actions to reprimand these student athletes. I'm glad he has a pair of balls and did the right thing. It isn't always just about winning, it's about right and wrong.

The Good thing about the other kids is he isn't seperating them from the other players so that makes me believe that some will get suspend 1-4 games and some might get 1 game.

I also believe the other 4 players will get suspended < 4 games. The other four would have gotten the boot already so that makes me think Redfield is taking the fall for all of them.

The thing that frustrates me is how we've struggled to recruit the safety position. Then we finally landed a 5 star player in Redfield and he busts.

So once again we have no depth and no experience in a defensive scheme that relies on the saftey play to be exceptional.

The other 4 were at practice yesterday. Depends on what the charges end up being and what Res Life wants to do with them.

Yep. I think a lot of it falls by the wayside if nobody else was charged. I don't think the school will do much, Kelly might, but I couldn't see more than 2 games for each if they don't get formally charged and Redfield takes the heat. Of course he may not want to do that for his own legal hide.

Still no word on formal charges on Butler and the 72 hrs is due to expire today I think.

With Butler being officially charged I would assume he'll remain suspended pending trial. However this means he's likely done at ND.
