I didn't see a current one started yet so I figured I get one going.

FSU just received a commitment from Josh Sweat, 5 star DE from Virginia. Sweat is currently the #5 recruit on ESPN rankings. Sweat was just about a consensus #1 overall before he dislocated his knee cap and tore his ACL early in his senior season. He is expected to make a full recovery and be running by April. Important to note that NO SCHOOLS backed off his recruitment following his injury. Sweat joins a class that is currently top 5 and has potential to finish as high as #2 if things fall into place.

I heard McElwain was going after Auden Tate pretty hard these past few days. I'm hoping we can grab Beckner or Cowart too.


But Sweat, Patrick, James, and Campbell are going to be studs. Patrick and Dalvin in the backfield next year will be nice. Add the couple of 4 star QB's plus the 5 star coming in 2016, I'd say Jimbo has this recruiting thing down.

Agreed. Also, Malik Henry, the 5 star QB from Cali you mentioned, is already recruiting for FSU. Not his class either. He is tweeting guys that are 2015 class to go to FSU. Love it!

JUCO DT D.J. Jones flipped to Ole Miss a couple days ago. Not a huge surprise but definitely could have used him next year with the likelihood that Goldman declares for NFL.

Noles got a commitment yesterday from 4 star WR Da'Vante Phillips, 6'2" 204 lbs...same high school as Dalvin Cook.

FSU just picked up a commitment from 4 star JUCO LB Lorenzo Phillips. He was originally at LSU but was academically ineligible. He went to JUCO for a year should be on campus for summer as long as his grades are straight. 6'3" 230 LB. Worst case he is depth at LB. Best case he is a starter. Alabama and Texas A&M were also in on this kid.

National Signing Day is a week from today. FSU should finish anywhere between 2-5 depending on how things fall on Wednesday. Another great class put together by Jimbo and Co.
