I heard ND commits didnt look good in the All star game. Anyone have any updates.
Not sure I heard Simon looked good in practice but these all star games are tough to judge because it's such a short week to get adjusted and none of Notre Dame's guys are the very elite that shine no matter what.
You’re right. For some reason, I thought he had one more year.
These games disadvantage the offense because there’s no rhythm and the offensive lines rarely gel.
Jurkovec’s first series he was running for his life. Took a sack deep in the East’s own territory. His second possession he threw a pick.
The starter for the East, the Clemson commit, didn’t look much better.
Amon Ra came across as a bit of an asshole and tried to hock his dad’s protein supplements during his hat dance. Lewis Johnson wanted to smash his mic over his head when he said that. He pulled the mic back and was like okay so who ya pickin.
Jonathon MacCollister is transferring to National Champion UCF to play TE.
We actually have 2 RBs that some would say are more complete RBs than Adams.
Well more bad news today. Man this is lookingbad for ND. Hirstand going to the NFL to coach with the Bears
i think i've mentioned this before ... but ....... "like rats deserting a sinking ship"!
No not good news at all they'll need to get someone as good or nearly as good.
This also hurts any chance of landing an elite O-Lineman in this class.
Notre Dame offered 4 star OT Jarrett Patterson
I have my doubts that they get another O-Lineman with Hiestand leaving.
Only 3 spots left in this class. I'm guessing Lawrence Key will be one of those. Then you have Julius Irvin and Noah Boykin, which I'd like to land one of those two. That leaves one more spot.
Yeah that would seem about right.
So Notre Dame just opened up one spot to get to 84 athletes with four players being dismissed from the team. Two of those four were RB's leaving only Williams, Jones Jr and Smith, with Bonner returning next year losing Tiassum for depth doesn't hurt as much and we all expected Stepherson to be gone.
We might try to land another RB this class. I'm assuming Julius Irvin is a USC lean by now.
Jesus..nothing like losing 2 RB at the end of recruitment....
I've read that Holmes could have guidelines to get back on the team much like Floyd did.
Interesting, do you have a link?
It Was in a USA Today article, saying several outlets were reporting he had a path back to the team.
