No doubt. Whenever Kelly leaves the program will be better than when he got it.

As far as Alford, we lucked out by getting Denson. He had just as many Fla contacts as Alford and is actually a Fla. native.

And Heistand has done an amazing job in replacing Warriner.
Yes and we got lucky to land Sanford. I really think he leaves soon to be a HC and then when Kelly Leaves he takes over. I think Kelly is grooming him.

I agree Purguy, Kelly is most likely grooming Sanford to be the next head coach. Also I'm not so sure Notre Dame really lucked out to get Denson if only because he's a Notre Dame Alum.

I know we bitch about Kelly a lot. His play calling, his lack of adjustments, his non existent offense in the redzone. But he really has saved this program. A couple 10+ win seasons, successful recruiting that improves each season, and now he's set up to win another 10+ regular season games this season, on top of 2 very good looking classes in the future.

He's the best coach we've had since Holtz. Now if we can sneak into the playoffs this season.

I dont bitch about Kelly. I like Kelly. I agree he has saved this program. This program was fading. Now ND is the talk of college football every year(they are 1 of top 10 teams talked about). The Recruiting has been amazing. The product has been good(back to back injury season's). Graduation rate is the highest in the country. The future is bright.

I do think Kelly needs that Big win moment. He had chances with Clemson last last year even against Stanford. year before it was the FSU game. We need to learn to win those big games. That is the 1 area I would like to see Kelly improve on. last year pissed me off because we were the better team and should won that clemson game. We out played them and we just couldnt pull it out.

This year Big moment will be against Stanford if we are 6-0. Then we will have another one with USC. MSU game is big put to early in the season. A loss doesnt knock us out so its a big game but not as big as the Stanford or USC game.

So I'm hearing Osiris St. Brown is going to make his choice known this Friday. Pretty much 50/50 ND/Stanford.

Here's hoping he wants to be with his big bro. Could potentially be a huge pickup, as some evaluators say he has more overall top talent than his brother, which is saying something.

man this LB Bauer we just landed is going to be a good one. This kid has a chance to be special if everything goes right. Go watch his film. Big time hard hitter who is quick and smart.

Osiris picked Stanford. Looks like it's brother versus brother.

I think I saw somewhere that DE Hunter Echols committed to U$C yesterday as well. I was really hoping to land that DL help. Oh well... keep grindin' ND recruiters.

He did indeed commit to U$C, hopefully they can pull at least one elite DE in this Class.

I'm honestly stunned Echols turned around his commitment so quickly. I think he flipped on UCLA less than two weeks ago.

I'm pretty worried about the DE spot tbh. These are the two Notre Dame has the best odds with an looking at Whitaker's offer sheet, not thrille:

Cortez Alston's Crystal Ball Predictions

Rivals.com

They don't many I would settle for one they do have a high three star Jonathon MacCollister committed in this class. They are also in on a few different guys. I do think adding a guy like Kareem and a kid with the ability of Hayes could be hurting them a little but only time will tell it's a long time to February.
