Reasons why I think the Pacers "could" win 40 games...

Indy just had a really good night. Spurs couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. Oh well.

It happens. Usually in a 82 game season, every team is on both sides of this several times throughout the year.

She started out being a little rude. I brought it back and it was a pretty civil dialogue for awhile.

Then, she called me "little fella" and "moronic" because she didn't agree with me.

So yes. She tried to start a fight. That is not civil disagreement.

Look, it's real simple. You don't get along, so don't respond to her posts (like you said you weren't going to). You keep saying that she knows nothing about basketball, that she just looks to pick fights, that you have no respect for her opinions and that you aren't going to respond anymore.

Then, you keep responding, over and over. All the while, blaming her for you not being able to keep yourself from responding.

Just an update on Oladipo as we approach the ending of the 1st quarter of the year.

22.6 PPG, 5 RPG, and 3.7 APG on 46% shooting and 44% from 3.

Having by far his best season of his career.

So far, you were right about Olidipo and Sabonis.

Both have been tremendous and I was beyond wrong when I said the Pacers got fleeced.

Yep one thing about Cane, he does know his basketball. As annoying as he can be with the name calling and etc at times.

Still early but Indy are 12-9 through 21 game. May very well get to 40+ wins

No he doesn't though. He says some really stupid stuff. He knows stats. Doesn't know the game that well.

He is consistently overly optimistic about his teams. A lot of people thought Oladipo was going to break out this year once he got away from Russ and was allowed to get the ball back in his hands. That wasn't a hard call.

Pacers are better than expected, but he predicts they will be better than anybody else thinks they will every single year. Sorry, but I don't give much credit there.

Well CL said 20-25 wins lol. That was never happening.

My sole purpose of keeping this thread alive is more about the Oladipo conversation that really took this thread off. Don't care all that much if they win 40 or not. It would actually benefit me if they don't since my Heat looks like they'll finish with that win total.

He went from an average players to good player. But all star is a bit too much though.

He's not going to earn a spot over Kyrie, Simmons, or Beal.
