How many times will it take watching this offense get shut down by any decent starter they face for people to stop blaming this season on pitching injuries. Fuck what a joke.
Very good point and overlooked right now simply because the pitching is so obviously garbage... Just looking at the lineup I think you will find there are very important hitters that are not living up to expectation more importantly there are not enough guys in the lineup that are putting up "difference maker" numbers.

Argument could be made this is Cano's worst season as a Mariner, Seager hit his ceiling in 2014, Haniger, Gamel and Heredia all started off looking great then cooled off hard (you could throw Motter in this group), maybe not exactly what we wanted from Dyson but he is right on his career numbers so far, Valencia does what he has done his entire career consistently bland with a bright spot here in there, any position player they called up outside of Gamel was straight up diarrhea, and now there isn't anyone worth a fuck to call up because Dip traded them for even worse pitching ... etc. etc..........

I might throw up as I type this, Zunino is one of the few that has actually improved.

There isn't enough shock and awe in this lineup its mostly just ehhh. Has this team gone on a win streak this year without following it up with multiple losses in a row and completely canceling out the wins?

Man, they might actually avoid the sweep... it's crazy looking at the standings and they're still only 3 out of the wild card race... lol...

What? Was Moore doing too good? Had to take him out to properly show him how to blow a game?

Our manager doesn't seem to know what he's doing.. Looks like he wants the sweep ..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Kind of ironic that we get swept and 2 of 3 were won by a guy the best team in the league got for free this week. I know with our All-Star outfield we didn't need a veteran CF for free or anything. If JD can't overpay for a guy, then we don't want him!

Incidentally, that facepalm was for the team, not necessarily you.

I mean Moore was cruising and was only 80 pitches, but nah lets take him out and put in the struggling scrabble

The way the M's got swept in this series is just sickening. They could have won every game. Please M's announcers, tell us again how great the M's bullpen is.

A simple way to analyze this season, they are 9-20 vs the Astros and Angels. A majority of those games were winnable too. Just one out or one hit away.

Our OF has a WRC+ of 68 since the break.

Servais the Saboteur had struck again. If the new guys in the front office actually cared about performance, they would have had a serious talk with this loser, if they didn't fire him first.

Which is why I'm starting to suspect...
