I would send DDJ down and let Joey have some of Napoli's DH AB's as well

I understand where you're coming from. But for me, I'd rather see Profar go down and get some regular playing time.

I think Profar has a future with us, and he really needs to get a lot of AB, whereas, I don't really have great confidence that DDJ will be here (or anywhere in the big leagues) long term.

Overall it was not a good homestand.

My general observations so far are that the pitching staff walks way too many guys and that the hitters are striking out way too much. The emergence of joey Gallo was a nice development, I wouldn't mind seeing him eat into the dreaded 3 man platoons playing time. Napoli is playing like Crapoli so far. Beltre coming back should give the lineup a big boost tho. It moves everyone else down a slot. Which could in particular help Mazara, Napoli, and possibly lucroy too. Jeffress and Claudio look like the best bullpen pitchers so far and it hasn't been close. The starters have lacked the ability to get clean innings or shut down innings which is a big concern. I'm not a big fan of the guy, but I'm glad that they kept Dillon Gee for depth purposes. Maybe he could pull a "Wandy Rodriguez" and have an unexpected good first half of the season.
