I know I haven't been Odors 'biggest fan' but it would be good for all concerned if he came around and righted his own ship. And honestly, he does seem to be seeing the ball better, getting better swings over the past week or so.

But going back to Profar, he's made 2 very poor throws today from short, and he sure seems to have trouble transferring the ball from glove to hand a lot.

Once the trade deadline has come and gone we will have a better picture of what happens with Profar and IKF. I understand why many think he should go to AAA but I hate not to see him contributing at the MLB level with the Rangers and I don't care who the person is it is a little disappointing when you get sent back down.

Not many options. Beltre and Elvis are fixed. Now who plays 2b is the question and who occupies the bench. Odd man out goes down. IMO.

I’m starting to think that what we’re going to see is IKF and Profar clearly outplay Odor( have better stats), but odor does just enough to stay up. I guess punching the rangers nemesis and dumping Gatorade on people goes a long way.

I still don’t like the guy tho and I used too. I really did.

On a serious note. What can be done with Odor.
1. He was the worse 2b in baseball.
2. Has almost no trade value if any
3. A contract no one wants the way he is playing
4. Two competitors with better stats

It's not about like or dislike. Would not care if he slung dog poop on Emily if he was getting the job done. He is not.

I am not so sure Beltre is fixed. I still think they could trade him as a kind gesture. You are right on Elvis and I am good with that as he played well last year and the start of this year.

From what I’ve seen so far, the kid seems to have a bad attitude.

Maybe they are switching him and Rua tho? I know everyone thinks Rua has played awful this year.

They've surprised me before, and this is more common sense than other things they have and haven't done

I'll wait until Andrus gets back and then go from there, I'm not saying they're doing one thing or another, just hoping for the right move and that doesn't include playing the guy that makes the most money

Some people are trying to use the excuse that the team sucks anyway and we’re not playing for anything, might as well leave Odor in there, but I think it’s more about seeing what other guys can do while odor quietly fixes himself at triple A.

IKF and Profar don’t deserve to go back down.
