If Elvis leads off the 9th with a hit or walk and Banny doesn't put in Lucroy to pinch hit for Chirinos, I might break my tv.

Banny is dumb as a bag of hammers. The guy is certainly no upgrade over Wash when it comes to brains. Bringing in Diekman tonight in a one run game after he has been so awful lately really is one of the dumbest managerial moves I've seen in a while.

It wouldn't have mattered anyway, but you are right. That ball was all the way out of the zone and nowhere near a strike. Umps should be fined significant amounts for calling bs stuff like that. That ump just wanted to go home and clearly cheated Mazara on that call.

Evan Grant, our resident Rangers homer idiot who absolutely refuses to ever talk bad about a Ranger and gets into name-calling on Twitter with people who do, just called Jake Diekman's pitching "officially crisis mode".

That is the harshest I've ever seen him speak about a Ranger. You know you have reached all-time awful levels when Evan Grant calls you a crisis.

Strike zone expanded on our guys as the game went on. That was one of the worst calls all night, besides Banister inserting Diekman

Bannister just admitted to Rhadigan that Diekman "isn't right" and that he can't throw strikes, especially to left-handed hitters.

So WHY did you pitch him in a 1-run game?!?! If you know a guy is a train wreck right now, you don't insert him into a winnable game with the 3-4-5 hitters due up. Pitch him in a blowout or use him in a low pressure middle inning against the bottom of the order.

He keeps this up he may not make the post season roster.

As of now Diekman shouldn't be on the post season roster. So I agree.
