Even if they swept they are still 6.5 out. How we do will depend if our BOTR guys show up.No Keuchel. I like our chances to at least get one and possibly win the series. Houston will go all out, they are the equivalent of a wounded bear backed into the corner. The Astros are desperate for any wild card momentum that they can get and a sweep will get them thinking about the division again. Must avoid that at all costs. On a side note, all games left except for 3 are in the state of Texas and I like our chances to open the playoffs at home ( still more work to do there).
Hey guys help me out here. In reviewing our starting rotation, Derek Holland is not scheduled in Houston and beyond. I thought Griffin would go to the pen. My question is where is Derek in all this?
Thanks Don. Makes sense.I heard this morning he's being moved to the pen as our long man.
Initially this surprised me but the more I've thought about it, it makes more sense.
On a positive note Colby looked really good with having so few innings of rehab so I am feeling good with our top 3 starters. Hamels issue was control but the hits off of him were garbage. Thanks Don. Makes sense.

A good lineup. You are right about Lucroy and PerezTonight's lineup: Gomez LF, Desmond CF, Beltran DH, Beltre 3B, Odor 2B, Lucroy C, Moreland 1B, Mazara RF and Andrus SS. Sure am glad that they have Lucroy catching Perez.
Yes a loss yesterday but the bionic man will improve with every start IMO.On a positive note Colby looked really good with having so few innings of rehab so I am feeling good with our top 3 starters. Hamels issue was control but the hits off of him were garbage.

Seems like he is doing ok leading off. Doesn't seem to be swinging from the heels like he was.How are you guys liking Gomez at lead off?
Considering our options I am good with it. He may be a free swinger at times but he has speed and he is working hard to make contact. How are you guys liking Gomez at lead off?
