Forgot this nugget:

When Benson came to camp and shot off his mouth about being the starter over Thomas Jones, I knew it wouldn't go well for him in Chicago. Guys who shoot their mouth off usually eat humble pie.

Great track Joe... many here wont know Frampton came from the Pie and Steve Marriot certainly one of the best singers ever

I loved the Pie and afterwards, Frampton...until this:

Remember the Sgt Pepper movie when Steven Tyler was strangling Peter Frampton?

Awesome.

Heard an interesting stat today on our Chicago ESPN radio. Teams that played the Seahawks, whether they won or lost to the Seahawks, overwhelming lost the next game against the next opponent.

Not sure how you'd verify that? Or how recent the stat was (with regard to the seasons involved). But it was interesting.

I heard a professional gambler say something similar about the Ravens from a few years back. I forgot the time frame and percentages and such. But basically, those types of defenses really punish their opponents and a lot of guys get knicked up, if not straight up injured and it takes longer to recover from those types of physical games.

It was true a season or two ago - I looked it up after I heard something similar on local radio(STL) as well.
NFC West rival team, they talked A LOT about the seahawks, since for some reason, that was the only good team the Rams showed up against the last 5 years.

don't remember the numbers, but it definitely was true, not sure how it played out last season.

Seriously, if anyone thinks Zeke is gonna get hard time from the NFL, then they don't know Jerrah.

He will make it all go away with a slap on the wrist that looks to the public like it is a deserving punishment.

Hate to admit it, but I am developing some admiration for Jerry. He knows how to settle business with the best of 'em.

Good find. I remember the same thing about the Bucs teams with the great defenses.

watching the Bronco/Niner game, scouting those pesky donkeys, waiting for my boy Joe to get inand chip away at Hyde...
But how does a guy who has played QB for nearly a decade in this league, have a clean pocket, and drop the ball during his wind up? That's Mark Sanchez stuff, not Brian Hoyer

posts disappeared:noidea:

What your you talking about? The only post that disappeared was mine. I deleted my post stating I was locking the thread when I reopened it.

Also I locked the thread because it seemed to me that the back and forth between you Eaglenut was going to keep going on. You were going to keep it going. Kind of like what your doing right now.
