And this is someone who has played in 5 Wimbledon Finals. It's not like he's Sampras at the FO, where someone might be disappointed, but not surprised, at an early exit.

It's disappointing to me that Murray never beat Nadal at Wimbledon. Because he lost to him in 2008, 2010, 2011. Murray was close in 2010 and 2011, but it would have added to the legacy of his run if he'd beaten Nadal during one of those runs.

Nadal also lost to Muller in 2005. That was funny to me, when it happened. Yes he was still young, and I usually think it's disappointing when a GS champ loses early at the next major (regardless of whom it may be). But Muller is about as funny as the Rosol / Darcis / Brown triumvirate.

To be quite honest it was after the grass was slowed down to have more rallies and the advancement of racquet and strong technology that enabled Rafa to win Wimby. I take nothing away from him as a champion and hard worker.

On grass it's just so fast that on any given day there may be Lukas Rasol or Steve Darcis in your path. Even Sampras had problems with certain players.
