I see he is hitting again, all fine and good with me...but I have noticed his last 4/5 HR's have been to the opposite field...my question is: is that because they r pitching him outside and hes going with the pitch or is it because he cant get around on the pitch and hes so strong the ball is being driven out of the park?

The only pitches he is seeing for strikes are on the outside corner...he's just going with the pitch.

Yep, everything that he is being thrown that is close to a strike is pretty much low and just catching the corner on the outside of the plate.

they are pitching him like that. The bigger question is: After the All Star Break can he continue this pace? or will teams pitch around him?

:agree:

Especially with Adam appearing to be a little more patient at the plate and less fishing.

yeah but i dont want to see a catcher hitting third. if brob comes back and through some miracle stays healthy maybe he bats first or second, jones moves to fifth and matt sixth.

Brob has been back for a few weeks now

i gotcha buddy. what i should have said for clarity is if he stays healthy and produces. im just used to him being back for a couple of weeks and then missing a half of a season.
