He was not offered a contract by Zona which is a nice way of saying he got cut. Looks like you should do your research

Did you even think that he may have turned down their offer to test the market. They offered him a 1 year deal and he turned it down. If you want to look it up, I read it in the Arizona Republic. Hope that helps.
