Game Thread: Purdue Game/week

Coming off the heels of the biggest win for our program since 2005, we roll into West Lafayette 14 point favorites and ranked for first time in 5 years. Team needs to take the next step and beat the hell out of a team they SHOULD hammer.

This could be a trap game. Nebraska got a scare from Purdue last week. Hope we aren't overly confident and just play hard. Getting 3 defensive starters back really helped our team vs OSU. Special Teams was lights out but our offense was so so I feel. Really would like to see us jell on Saturday and put some major points up.

Nebraska decided to get cute and come out throwing against a horrible run defense. Purdue also played inspired after coach was fired for a half, then couldn't do anything in second half. We are due to really beat the shit out of someone and this is a good spot for it, i like this team still having us against the world and people still doubting them in media after OSU win...keeps a chip on shoulder of an emotionally driven team.

I think Barkley goes off and Miles gets a decent number of touches this week.

Should be a win but agree with Ritz this is the kind of game you have to guard against a let down after all the excitement of the week before.

Would be a good week for the offense to get itself going again. D and ST won the game last week.

Offense should be fine...expect big days from Trace and Barkley running. If we were playing indiana, I would be worried this week, Purdue is bad and a team we should beat up on

Ok, judging by the way the team is handling the week, I don't think they let up. Barkley, Trace and Miles all get a bunch of yards on the ground, we roll 45-16...so due to just unleash an ass whooping on someone.

Offense has definitely stepped up in 2nd half. I thought defense has been ok in 2nd half, was abysmal in 1st half.

I'd say his Goodwill is still in tact Purdue came out and did a ton of stuff that wasn't on film, we adjusted anf beat the shit out of them like we were supposed to.

Think D came out a little TOO jacked up, over pursued and jumped off a few times. They adjusted to the new things Purdue there at them and played a very good second half. The most refreshing thing with this team is the fact the adjust at half and aren't too stubborn to admit their initial plan isn't working. Great to see teh backups getting quality reps as well.

Coach calling for a whiteout again next week, I'm in!!!!
