They have a great win @ #15 Purdue, but they did struggle putting Western Michigan away today.

Need to keep in mind that Wake's defense was ranked 299 in efficiency last year. That is beyond awful. Its a new year, and while I do think they have improved, how much will be the question. Pretty #nervous about finding out the answer to that question in tomorrow's game against Nova.

I do think its obvious, even against the weaker competition, that Wake's offense is very improved this year. Shooters across the board, and guys that love to share the basketball to find the open man. Its been fun to watch, and should continue to be fun to watch.

btw, big fan of Iowa as Fran used to coach UNC-Greensboro. He had good success there before moving on. He did play at Wake, but only played there for one season before transferring to Penn.

This only matters when he have a good basketball team.

The barometer for Mizzou this year is sadly just being a .500 team and they have a really good chance of failing that barometer. They need wins. Losing a tight game with one of the worst fouls any player has ever made with .1 seconds and then getting blown out in the 2nd game isnt a good look at all.
