Getting FSU is a good spot for the Gophers. Don't expect to win at all, but it should turn out to be a quality game early in the season against a bubble type of a team. Although it would be nice to play one of the blue bloods every now and then(UNC, Duke, Syracuse, Louisville) But the Gophers suck every year.

Ironically, they did lose to Duke in the '04 Challenge but beat them in the tournament later in the year. I believe that was one of Izzo's better teams that met expectations by getting to the FF.

thank you...yes...in the 2005 Dance #5 MSU beat #1 Duke in the S16, beat #2 Kentucky in the E8 then got crushed by UNC in the FF...
but we DID beat Duke...

EDIT: that's 1-9 against Duke; 0-7 against UNC; 1-1 against NCSt since 1999.

I feel much better now.
