I pretty much agree with your picks, but i think they lose to the Bucs and might beat the Redskins.

6-10 or 5-11.

Come on people, 71 views and only one response? The season starts in 3 days, and the topics don't get much more relevant than this as of now. This board sucks when no one ever comments on anything aside from bullchitting around in the Vikes Fans 2.0 thread. Surely some of you must have an idea of how you think the season will go by this point.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Hippie. I could certainly see a Bucs loss/Redskins win scenario. Still can't imagine them doing any better than 5-6 wins with that dogchit offense, though.

I was thinking 6 - 10 or 7 - 9 but if they get off to a bad start they could go as low as 4 - 12

I'm not looking forward to this game, could see it get ugly quick. D will focus on Brees and get gouged by the running game.

Been a Vikings fan pretty much for as long as they've been in the league...granted I don't remember the really early years (pre purple people eaters)...but they've never failed to disappoint me.

I'll admit that they surprised me in the Saints game, but this was definitely one of the more winnable games out of the ones I figured they'd lose. If you've been a Vikings fan for any length of time, you should know that strong starts don't mean anything for this franchise. Just last year, of course, they were the last undefeated team in the league at 5-0 and had an epic season meltdown to miss the playoffs. Within the last decade we've had 6-0 starts that resulted in the same thing. I won't count on anything until they actually do it, including actually making the playoffs and winning postseason games as they go.

Our remaining games don't look as daunting as it once did, although 3 game road stretch is always tough and road heavy overall finish.

I don't think anyone took you seriously, including yourself. ;)

Nonetheles, it's certainly doable with the remaining schedule they have. :thumb:

I was kidding at 14-2, but I wasn't doom and gloom like rest of peeps

If I would've been serious, probably 10-6

Well, I'm happy to eat crow on this one and have been very wrong when I made this thread. After Bradford and Dalvin Cook were both down, I never imagined them getting past 9-7 or so at best, even with that defense. Yet here they sit now at 13-3 and going into the divisional round of the playoffs after a 1st round bye. Now let's hope that Keenum and the defense show up and prove that this isn't an aberration of a season when it really counts in the playoffs!
