Screw rankings... we are a top 10 team when we are healthy... making the tourney is all that matters with a healthy team.

Kansas has some explosive players... so a 15 pt lead can be eroded in a matter of secs if we go cold.

yeah I heard that .. but we didnt go completly cold.. I switched over to watch the hockey (lightnin v Caps) for a few mins so i missed the first 3 mins of the second half.. not completly cold.. but not on fire like earlier either.

they are GAWD AWFUL at free throws and I can NOT comprehend how BD is not making their asses stay and shoot nothing but free throws until they dont mins ANY?!!!!!

We beat a team that be competitive at the end of the year so im happy with that. However we were not good offensively. We were awful from the FT line and we were sloppy with our shot selection, especially in the second half. However at the end of the day we won and thats all that matters.

The last 3 minutes seemed like 30 minutes. It’s sad, what did we shoot about 50% from the line? I can understand P. Young with his muscular frame, but no excuses from the others. Prather was solid, I think he missed only one. Everyone else sucked big time. A better team would have beat us last night just because of the free throws.

On the plus side, we forced over 20 turnovers! THAT’S Billy-Ball.

forced seems a strong word, but ill take the turnovers any way they come. kansas really had trouble with the 1-3-1 but then we went to man at the end for some unknown reason.

“Forced” may seem strong, but it wouldn’t have happened without Billy’s great coaching and decision to use the 1-3-1, so in that sense they were forced to play outside their comfort zone, caught off guard and downright out coached. I consider that forced.
