In the works that'd send McCutcheon to the Yanks, Quintana to the Pirates and a boatload of prospects to the White Sox. Seems like a good deal for all involved if McCutcheon has a bounce back. Supposedly looking to wrap it up by New Years. Thoughts?

Doubt that happens. That being said, I wouldn't mind a boatload of prospects heading the White Sox's way. If some of the ones they've already received this off season pan out, maybe they will go to the playoffs in 2018.

They're loading up though. A few more moves and they'll be in great shape for a few years down the line

The problem with this trade rumor is that it has McCutchen going to the Yankees, if the Yankees were interested in trading a group of prospects for one player (which they're not) they would want Quintana in this deal, not McCutchen. They already have a CF they can't get rid of.

Man people are down on McCutcheon based onn1 year. Guy is still young. I'd love to have him in Chicago to replace Fowler

I'd take McCutchen over Ellsbury any day, but that's not saying much because I'd take any of the other 29 CF's over Ellsbury. I do like McCutchen though.

Pittsburgh would be selling at McCutcheon's absolute lowest. He just had the worst year of his career.

ZERO chance this happens

A big FAT ZERO

This move goes against every single thing the Yankees have been trying to build since the summer

Trading high level prospects for a declining 30 year Outfielder that relies a lot on his legs?

We have him already, we call him Jacoby Ellsbury

$13 million for a proven, needed RH bat to fill a vacated DH role for one year, is peanuts, and a lot different than mortgaging an entire future for a declining 30 year old OF

Trust me, Mccutcheon is not going to be a Yankee
