Every year just gets more and more wide open. It's tough to do these.

1. Kentucky - I have this feeling that the mix of holdovers and newcomers at UK will gell. When 5 star players get into their 2nd year, they're so much better.
2. North Carolina - Nobody will have them this high, but I think they have the best mix of upperclassmen and incoming recruits.
3. Kansas - They have experienced players, but those players haven't played together yet. Otherwise, I'd make them #1.
4. Duke - Duke has the #1 class but they do most every year. This assumes nobody returns.
5. Villanova - I don't think Villanova will win next year. Brunson and Brides just such a big reason why we won, even in 2016. The Big East will be down next year, will see how that affects RPI.
6. Michigan - assumes Wagner returns to have them up here
7. Tennessee - I also think Tennessee is going to be really good, Tough minded team.
8. Florida - kind of underachieved and flew under the radar a bit. I think they're gonna be real good next year.
9. VA Tech - saw them play a number of times and they really impressed me in beating the best teams from ACC. I think they lose very little. And I think they'll finish ahead of UVA. Burying myself with that one.
10. I'm kind of reaching at this point ... Auburn would be up here if Heron didn't just declare. I guess Michigan State.

BTW ... the consensus way-too-early #1 last year at this time? Louisville. :dhd:

Yep. I really like what they've got coming back ( assuming Carr stays). It was pretty obvious they were tourney caliber this year with how they dominated the NIT abd that was without the most valuable player ( imo ). Losing Garner is meh but they're going to win 25+ next year I think.

I disagree lol.

But Carr is gone anyways. He bolted days ago.

I thought he didn't sign an agent? If he did I'll go Michigan at 10 and call it good

For Kentucky I think Shai is gone but Knox is 50/50, and Cal has the best shooting team he's had in years, Top 10 easy without Knox but Top 5 with him:

Hagans 6'4 fr
Johnson 6'6 fr
Herro 6'5 fr
VanderbiIt 6'9 so
Gabriel 6'11 jr
Bench
Green 6'0 so
Quickley 6'2 fr
Baker 6'4 RS fr
Washington 6'7 so
Jones 6'10 jr
Richards 6'11 so
