Well you said make it to the Finals. That's what Lebron does, he even did it with some scrubs in Cleveland in his early days, also without Kyrie and Love. What makes you think Indiana has a better chance than a now experienced Cleveland team? There is no reason to believe that.

Because LeBron ain't getting younger and Kyrie and Kevin don't play any defense...:L

You may have 2017...But my big prediction as stated before is that Paul George leads the Pacers to the finals in either 2018 or 2019...We're bringing 2000 back baby!!!...And maybe one of these days we'll actually win it.

I'm kinda surprised to see all the Pacers 2 seed predictions myself.

A healthy Jefferson off the bench is a luxury.

Thad is steady at the 4 and should permanently put an end to the GEorge at PF experiment.

Teague is the wild card.

Is he really an upgrade over Hill?

Can Turner take the next step?

Does Monta have anything left in the tank?

For me, they have as much a shot at top 2 as the Raps and Celtics until Horford and Demar prove they are elite and won't cripple their Teams ability to get better with those gigantic contracts.

Doesn't really matter in the big scheme of things. Because, like the Warriors in the West...it's..

Honestly, I'm more worried about Al and Thad than I am about Teague. Teague is definitely an upagrade over Hill because he could do more beside shoot. Jefferson's health issues are always a concern, and Thad could be facing greater expectations coming over from the 21-win Nets. You just have to hope his career-high in rebounding rate last season will translate into this season.

Yeah, Al would be more of a concern if he was expected to be a starter.

But off the bench? He's a luxury.

Thad will be fine as a 3rd or 4th option.

I will predict Boston vs Dubs. I would change that view if Love steps it up. Boston will make a trade at the deadline to add what missing ingredient the first half shows.

if the Rockets manage a playoff berth i'll be mildly suprised. 4th?!!! not happening unless assassination gets allowed into the league rules...

The guy had a take, so what? So much hate. Guess what, there's usually a team that surprises everyone by how well they do (last year's Blazers) and another that surprises how bad they do (last year's Bulls). So maybe the Rockets are the surprise and they grab a 4th seed. Not at all ridiculous. Maybe the Clippers get injured, maybe Memphis does, etc.

I respect the stand. Don't agree with it but so what, that's all this is just making picks.

and that was MY take. is there a reason you're trying to make a big deal out of it...?

Checking out my predictions, I clearly missed on the Bucks and possibly the Wizards. I don't think the Knicks and Pistons will make it. As for my West predictions, I think I chose the right 8 teams but just not in the correct order

I just did this a couple days ago- but here goes again

1. Cleveland
2. Boston
3. Toronto
4. Indiana
5. Detroit
6. Atlanta
7. Charlotte
8. Bulls

1. Golden State
2. Los Angeles (C)
3. San Antonio
4. Memphis
5. OKC
6. Dallas
7. Houston
8. Utah
Pretty well.....my biggest mistakes thus far have been Detroit in the East and Dallas in the West. My best choices thus far are prob. Memphis/OKC/Bulls.

Season is right around the corner, time to post your end of the season standings.

East:

1. Cleveland Cavaliers
2. Toronto Raptors
3. Indiana Pacers
4. Boston Celtics
5. Atlanta Hawks
6. Chicago Bulls
7. Detroit Pistons
8. Washington Wizards

West:

1. Golden State Warriors
2. San Antonio Spurs
3. LA Clippers
4. Portland Trailblazers
5. Memphis Grizzlies
6. Oklahoma City Thunder
7. Dallas Mavericks
8. Utah Jazz

Definitely missed on Dallas big time, and Houston big time. And to a lesser extent Portland(I think they'll make it, but probably get the 8 seed, if I had to guess). My East looks pretty good, if Detroit can manage to catch and pass Milwaukee, I will have gotten all 8 teams correct. Of course Chicago and the Wizards need to make it as well.
