I do think Mendenhall has them headed in the correct direction though. Might make the game this year interesting, plus I believe it's a home game for UVA.

"Home games" for UVA against VT have been 70/30 crowds in VTs favor over the last few years. We'll see if their fans and students show up for this one. I typically go, and the last time UVA had a 'good' team, we beat them 38-0 in their stadium.

I'm not suggesting UVA will win or anything, but it could be an interesting game at least, especially if UVA comes in with 2/3 losses. I've always oddly enough enjoyed this rivalry, even though it's been 1 sided the last 15 years.
