Broncos vs. 49ers - Box Score - August 17, 2014 - ESPN

Here you go. Considering 50% of the QBs playing in that game, just for the 49ers, are still QBs for the 49ers should tell you enough.
But teams usually don't stock up on QB's. They have 2-3 QB's on the roster and keep those players on the roster. There might be a single QB on a yearly basis competing for a roster spot vs. a spot like DB where there might be 5-10 guys looking for a spot. That's a bad example.

15 players had a catch, just on the 49'ers, and 8 players had rushing attempts. And all 4 QB's listed played, and Kaepernick didn't play past the 1st quarter.

They still played. And they didn't score. Your point is moot

And two of those running backs? Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde... two pretty good NFL running backs.

Neither of which played past halftime. I can't believe anyone is arguing the preseason NFL means anything and is an actual game.

But did they score?

Against the Broncos first team, which probably also only played the first half.

I can play this game all day, keep going

What you're arguing is no different than arguing someone got shut out in a spring game.

It's 100% different. A spring game is one program. A preseason game is two.

Was the team coached by Harbaugh? Yes.
Were they playing football? Yes.
Did both teams have the same chance to score? Yes.
Was Harbaugh shutout? Yes.

And neither team cared about winning. Again, spring NFL games are about finding diamonds in the rough, not winning games. Entirely stupid argument.

You should start a thread called...post here if your HC has beaten his rival, won a conference crown & has a Natty. Has Jimmy Jam done that?

Game wasn't played in the spring. You don't play in them so you don't have any idea what the teams care about.

Did he coach the team? Yes.
Did they play against another team? Yes.
Did he get shut out? Yes.

Georgia's last shutout loss was in 1995.

Surprisingly, it wasn't Florida, but Alabama that delivered the ass whoopin.

I think I'm gonna start a 'post here if you've beaten your rival more than once in the last decade' thread.

I literally think every fan base could post in that except Michigan fans.

That might trigger some Virginia fans.

It would be something of a problem for Tennessee fans as well.
