Seemed to be the consensus when they were 0-1.
Wasn't it obvious they were struggleing.

I mean, WTF is wrong with Jimbo.

I wont be. I gave them a chance after losing that french qb for the season, but in the end, any team with a frenchie winning the qb position, cant be top 25 tough.

Their season went wayyyy south when they lost Francois and if ya can't keep a team like NCSU from scoring that much in yer own house ... well .... :tsk:

So at 0-2 where are the AP writers gonna put them? I was thinking 20-22...

With their recruiting classes and loss to Bama? Why would 0-1 seem like a sign of struggling?

I cut them slack after the loss to Alabama, but not to NC St. Not in my top 25.

We're just spotting the field a couple of games, before we make our move.

Using the logic of the coaches poll, if Florida State and Notre Game both run the table FSU would still be in front of them. Also, if Miss St and LSU both run the table LSU would continue to be in front even they got destroyed by Miiss St. Of course these voters are coaches that have almost no concept of clock management on Saturdays.

I ranked them because they are a top25 team.

They just aren't a top5 team, top10 or top15 team that they were thought to be, now that they lost their starting QB.

They also missed 2 weeks of game time reps. They were clearly better than NCST talent wise, but had a bad day and sloppy play bite them in the butt.

But go ahead and have your knee jerk reactions and then pretend like you didn't when they get their shit rolling and finish in the top20.

Or, they'll lose next week and they'll finish the season lucky to make a bowl...But I'm betting on the odds, which is that Florida St isn't going to have more than 4 losses on the year, which will still be top25 when it's all said and done.

Polls are an average result, not a logical result.

They can all blow me, and if they like I'll send a ranking list for the order in which they can do it. If they struggle this week against Wake Forest I'll change my mind.
