Pac-12, Big 12 in talks with ESPN to play in Mexico City


Anybody else think this is a stupid idea? We already play OU in Dallas, so this game in Mexico City would take away another home game. There is no reason whatsoever to play this game in Mexico City. No recruiting advantages, not expanding the brand at all and it's a loss in ticket revenue b/c again, this would take away another home game. Very stupid, Steve Patterson......

It would have the same affect on recruiting in PAC territory as playing a PAC team in Austin. It would be watched on TV. It might be broadcast nationally and during primetime so it might actually be more.

Either way it won't happen until 2019 at the earliest.
