The Chiefs all time playoff record is now 9-18. Under Reid they are 1-4. The only win they’ve had in recent memory was against a pretty weak Texans team. The losses have been pretty epic, with the only “respectable” loss being the 27-20 Lisa to the Patriots. Even that one wasn’t as close as it looked, as the Chiefs trailed by 14 in the 4th and clock managed their way right out of a chance to win it even after closing it to a 1 score game. The other losses include blowing a 28 point lead to the Colts, losing at home after a bye week, and now blowing a 21-3 lead to a Titans team many believed to be the weakest of the 2017 playoff slate.

The Broncos May have been bad this year but the last time they were this bad they were in a position to draft Von Miller, who later was a huge piece of the team’s third SB title. That recent title makes the past two seasons a little more bearable. Now they’re in a position to once again set themselves up for future success, and bad as 2017 was I actually feel a little excitement about what the team is doing to fix its offense and get them back on top of the division.

Jaguars defense outdoes the Bills. That game was a snoozer. Bortles has a couple of lucky breakdowns go his way today that made me feel I was watching Flacco in 2012 again. With that defense I wouldn’t put it past the Jags if they somehow can keep it close against the Steelers and Bortles has a couple more lucky breaks to somehow extend their season another week. We’ll see.

Next up: Panthers @ Saints. I love division rival playoff games!

Every team I wanted to win in round 1 won.

Titans over Chiefs (Hardcore Titans there)
Jaguars over Bills (Was rooting for Jags, nothing against Bills, would be nice to see them win a playoff game but Jags are better matchups to knock off the top 2)

Falcons over Rams (I was ok if Rams won, but Falcons are a team Ive always liked)
Saints over Panthers (Was ok either way, but was rooting for Saints in this one be about two steps)

Be nice if this round went as well for me, but not counting on it.

I respect the Patriots but still hate 'em. I can't argue with your forecast but I can still hope!

Oh and I'll still be around. The Broncos are a way of life for me.....win or lose.

Falcons @ Eagles was a pretty good game. My guess is either of the Vikings or Saints, whoever wins, will beat the Eagles next week. We’ll see!

Those were both pretty bad and they did come at points in the game where the Titans were still in it and could have gained some momentum. Still we have no way of knowing what would’ve happened next had the crew not fabricated the PI on Decker or changed that penalty from a Patriots to Titans penalty. Most of us likely expected a Pats blowout and that’s exactly what we got.

Good season for the Titans. Something to build on. We’ll see if they fire their coach. A better brain up top could take that roster to the next level. Or burn it to the ground. We’ve seen both happen over the years!

Still does not excuse the terrible refs in the game.
I actually blame the other teams in the AFCE who cannot field teams to atleast make the East competive. Force NE out of Foxboro and we will see different results
NE coasts to HOF becuase of the incompance of the AFCE
Look at the Super Bowls or when NE travels
Competive games but nothing like how they dominate at home
Then you have the brain farts of ATL and Sea in the big game.
