ligaments can be helped with stretching and strengthening. Broken bones are just random. Like I said I have 0 idea it has been this way, but it is becoming a pattern

Tearing an ACL is such a random fluke thing though. If Adrian Peterson can tear his ACL it can happen to anybody. I think they've just been extremely unlucky. They had a guy tear his ACL after celebrating last year, pretty much sums it up. lol.

People should really study and emulate Stanford's S & C program. They have had almost no serious injuries over the span of several years. You could argue year-to-year its the law of averages, but seriously, when's the last time you heard of any major player on their team getting shelved for significant periods of time.

Yes. They have been great. A lot of competitive stuff and lots of stretching. They do things differently. I believe yoga is another part of their training.

Any single injury is a fluke, but it is the number of them that raises a flag. If you have a high level of injuries compared to others (I have not looked at that, just going off my impression) than you probably need to look at the S&C program. It hard to tell, because 1 year or even several can be the results of bad luck.

I am 90% sure it's true. Read there are no weights for incoming freshmen. Yoga classes to promote flexibility. I need to look for the article

Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma vs. Tennessee
Peach Bowl: Alabama vs. Clemson
National Championship Game: Tennessee vs. Clemson

Orange Bowl:
Florida State vs. Notre Dame
Cotton Bowl: Houston vs. Michigan
Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. Stanford
Sugar Bowl: LSU vs. TCU

I'm not sure I'm following Houston in a major bowl? I might be missing something, but the only team they play this year is Oklahoma and they are probably going to lose that one. I thought schedule strength was going to come in to play when playing in these major bowl games. I'm guessing a much lower bowl game.

One group of 5 team automatically gets selected for a Big 6 bowl game.

Orange Bowl: Florida State vs. Alabama (The Seminoles and Crimson Tide will be the "first 2 teams out" of the playoff this year. And it should be a humdinger when Fisher and Saban try to take out their frustrations on each other.)

boring because we open against FSU next year.

I still have to go with Boise St. Both are in weak conferences, but I think the Mountain West is a little tougher. Probably splitting hairs. Plus, I think Boise is suppose to be better this year and at least they play Oregon St. and Washington St. Even if they lose those two, but win the rest. I'd have to give it to them. I guess the question is "win the rest."

Louisville goes to Houston Nov 17. But, yeah, how good overall the AAC is could well detemine Houston's bowl fate.

Houston plays Oklahoma and Louisville. There's no question Houston plays the tougher OOC schedule. I'm not so sure the Mtn. West is better than the AAC. It certainly wasn't last year. I think an 11-2 Houston(losses to OU and L'Ville) will get selected over any G5 team, unless a G5 goes undefeated.

Interpretation: "I'm just pissed nobody has mentioned the Aggies". :tsk:
I'm glad nobody's talking. It's easier be average and overachieve when expectations are low.
