The beginning of his career was stellar. Real nice kid too. He used to live by my facility, shopped in the retail area and was a regular at one of the restaurants. The sales people (Most of which had no idea who he was until I explained it, women and gay guys) and especially the bartenders couldn't say enough nice things about him.

Mo Vaughn was a Met about the time I started learning names of players that weren't on the Braves. My only real memory of him was getting hit by a pitch that would have been called a strike had his gut not been hanging over the inside corner.
