What do you want them to do. There is no pitching out there.

Usually the Yankees go after pitchers first. Surely they don't think their current rotation is good enough? Or maybe they really do think that?

I think letting Cano get away was a mistake.

The Yanks already replaced Cano production in the batting order. If CC can get his act together we should be fine especially were able to get another starter somewhere because at the moment we have 3 good starters

They are not crazy about any of the top tier pitchers available this year (Santana, Garza, Jimenez), if Tanaka gets posted they will go hard after him, if they don't get Tanaka I can see them taking a one year flyer on an older pitcher like Roy Halladay.

Who knows if Tanaka will be good. He is a toss up to. I agree the market for pitching isn't great.

Also don't forget about Pineda. If he comes back and plays like he did with Seattle we will be fine.

Yea, that's what we really need more than anything, one of our young pitchers to actually work out.

Would'nt that be something?

Well, I shouldn't say that, Nova looked good last year.

But we need to get something out of Pineda like you said, or Jose Campos or Manny Banuelos.

Phelps...Warren... Anyone

So now that we have Tanaka things are a bit more clear:

Sabathia
Nova
Kuroda
Tanaka
Pineda

That's not in any order, who know how that will pan out. We lost Huff today so our bullpen took a hit. We have Adam Warren, David Phelps, Manny Banuelos, Preston Claiborne, Jose Campos, Shane Greene, Bryan Mitchell, and Matt Thornton in the mix.

We need more BP, would love to see them trade with the Nationals for Soriano, rumor has it he's fallen out of favor there. I'm not too confident in Robertson.

Pineda is the X factor, if he's comes around look out.

Huge IF though.
