Ok, let me set the stage. Gwinnett down 5-4, bottom 9 , no outs man on first. Mel Rojas at bat, Piece on deck.

2-2 on Rojas. They still have a righty in there. I wonder if this guy makes an out if they will bring in a lefty to face Piece.....

Full count on Rojas Jr. I think his father, Mel Rojas Sr. was a pitcher with the Expos.

Piece goes yard! The big guy is finally starting to put it together! Gwinnett is down 5-4 in the top of the 9th so we're hoping Piece can do something dramatic in the bottom of the frame. Having a great time down here. Not much to do during the day so I went down to the local courthouse. There was a big murder trial going on. Two college kids were driving through on spring break and apparently robbed and killed a convenience store owner. Their attorney is some crazy little dude from up in North Jersey or New York or something. After they stopped for the day I saw the judge in the hallway. The guy was like 7 feet tall-no joke! He looked like Herman Munster!

So you saw Vinnie? How about his girlfriend?

I didn't pay attention to the names. I'm heading out to a new place a couple towns over anyway. The train thing was too much of a distraction for me. They have a 10:30 AM game today so I'm assuming they will give the old man a day off, but maybe we'll get a late inning Piece pinch-hit appearance.
