Pick the Podium - Premio De Mexico, 2016

This week, the boyz are in Mexico for the Mexican Grand Prix. Perhaps Rosberg will rebound from last week or Hamilton will continue his assault on the championship. We shall see.

Don't know if anyone saw the headlines indicating that Malaysia is thinking of canceling their contract with
F-1 because the product has become to boring and predictable. Everyone knows that much. Maybe F-1 will attempt to remedy this emerging problem. Maybe this is the beginning of the death nails of the series? Maybe.

Whoa! Vettel goes fastest in FP2 beating both Hamilton and Rosberg. Have the Ferrari's caught up? Perhaps. Qualifying is next.

Gremlins finally strike Rosberg.

Hamilton off the track on the start but he saved it as did Rosberg.

Wherlein had a wreck on the first lap and Vettel has a flat. Safety car is out.

Ricciardo is now third. Oops. Now Verstappen is back at third.

The Peugot just doesn't have the power the Mercs have.

Hamilton has opened up a huge lead over Rosberg. Verstappen ducks in the pits as the supersofts are fading.

Pit stops are coming to close as everyone are going to the mediums. Presently, Hamilton leads Rosberg and Verstappen.

Vettel stayed out and leads the race.

Verstappen is making a gallant effort to catch and pass Rosberg but I don't think he has enough horsepower or time.

There was a huge battle between Verstappen and Vettel for third. Verstappen held his ground and Vettel whined like a little girl. The reason F-1 is in trouble is because they don't let these teams and drivers race. If Vettel wanted third, he had to pass Verstappen which wasn't going to happen easily. Sure is a lot of whining coming from the Ferrari camp. Want a bunch of wussies.

Meanwhile, Hamilton takes the race followed by Rosberg and Verstappen for third.

Now Verstappen has been a given a 5 second penalty. That changes the podium finish I believe.

So now it is Hamilton, Rosberg, and Vettel! Verstappen finishes further down like 6th or 7th.

Looks as though the final podium finish is Hamilton, Rosberg, and Vettel even though Vettel had another incident under investigation.
