After a great race in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, the IndyCar series moves to Iowa for the Iowa Corn 300. With Scott Dixon taking over the points lead and Andretti Autosport teammates tied for second, this should be an intense race.

Ryan Hunter-Reay returns to a track that he likes and he has done well there winning several races. I expect him to have a great week-end and he may another Iowa Corn 300.

Newgarden remains hot as he leads Will Power and RHR, Veach in practice in Iowa.

Power takes the pole over Newgarden and RHR. Dixon is lurking though. Should be a good race as the driver that started from the pole has not won the race in the last 11 races here in Iowa.

Newgarden leads Hinchcliffe, Pagenaud, Spigot, and RHR at lap 105 of 300 in Iowa.

Newgarden and Hinchlciffe stayed out and are on the same lap while everyone else is a lap down.

At Lap 174, Newgarden leads Hinchcliffe and Sato.

Well this has been a week-end of getting skunked for me. Hinchcliffe takes the win followed by Pigot, Sato, and Newgarden.
