I believe this is a new venue and the series picked up a sponsor in Panasonic and its parent company. After one practice, the results include: Kanaan, Dixon, and Bourdais followed by Pagenaud. The latter two drivers are going to break through for the win eventually. Perhaps this is the week-end for that to occur.

Practice 2 has the following results: Power, RHR, Pagenaud and Simona de Silvestre was fifth!

I'll take Power, Montoilet, and Hunter-Reay for the race tomorrow.

The drivers are having trouble with the rain as to when to switch from rain tires to slicks.

I have never seen so many drivers who do not know how to drive in the wet on slicks when there is a dry portion of the track.

Another driver is off due to water and another caution. This race is becoming a disaster.

Now Huertas is off. There is a huge puddle on the last turn before the straightaway and people are hitting that and going off the track. Another yellow immediately after the green flag. This race is becoming a joke.

This Sage Carrem fella is a complete novice. He can't keep the car on the track. Another caution with 13 minutes to go. Plus its going to rain again.

Holy Cow, Simona De Silvestre is up to fourth!

Hunter-Reay, Pagenaud, and Bourdais just got into a big wreck! This has turned into a demolition derby.

They are going to run out of time and Hinchcliffe is going to win it.

What a joke of a race. The finish under yellow is Hinchcliffe, Castroneves, and Jakes. Good grief.

NOLA needs to work on the water drainage, that's for sure!

Congrats to all those who played the tire/fuel/weather game to perfection today. Hopefully, Simona's result will lead to more funding for more races.

As for us, we both got completely skunked on our picks.
