Pick the Podium - IndyCar- 101st Running of the Indianapolis 500, IN, 2017

This is the 101st running of the Indy 500 and as usual, there are many subplots such as F-1 Driver Alonso racing an Andretti car is running his first 500 and can Alexander Rossi take two-in-a-row? Also, the Penske teams are having a horrible month of May as they have qualified in the back half of the field. Can they rebound? We shall see. Should be exciting as usual.

I am going to go with Dixon for the win followed by RHR, Andretti, and Rossi for fourth.

Alonso has had a pretty good month of May and he is driving an Andretti Honda, BoiseStateFan. That would be a real shocker if he wins it his first try. And you are right. Choosing the podium with IndyCar racing is nearly a dart board affair every race. No clear favs like in F-1.

Didn't realize Alonso was starting next to Takuma Sato, that is bad news...hopefully he can get away from Sato as soon as possible

Sato was one of the craziest F1 drivers I can remember
