Looks like Andretti Autosport may be the best racing team right now in IndyCar. Now they need to put together a championship!

Just got back to my sister's place from the track. One heck of a good race IMO.

Who would have ever picked Rossi to win it.

I'll check our scores in a minute, although I suspect that we all got blanked.

I recorded and skimmed. Winner right out of nowhere made it great.

Power gets a penalty for driving Kanaan into the wall in the pits.

There was a mighty cheer that came up from the crowd for that. I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand Power.

Pagenaud is now in the pits. This could spell the near-end for him. Now there is rain.

There was no rain. They said "caution stays out for moisture in the North end". We're all up in the stands sweating our asses off like "some rain would be nice".

Karam wrecks and wonders why.

Turns are hard

lol. Sato sooner or later will hit the wall. Yellow out. Kanaan still leads at lap 164.

Straight lines are hard.

And it's only a matter of time before he's back in F1. Haryanto's money is running out and that seat is Rossi's on principle. Plus with Daniil Kvyat melting down, I wonder if Toro Rosso takes a run at him.

It was pretty epic, he was so slow with two to go, Then on the final lap as he went through 3 and 4 his car was sputtering bad. He went into 4 and I could see Munoz coming down the back into 3 at full chat. I thought he was gonna get him, and Newgarden was right on Munoz too. Then after Rossi had won it he came around and down the cooldown lane and his car was off. And he was beating on the steering wheel like a madman. I was stoked to even be there, but to see Rossi win the 500, and the launching of what could be an epic career? Icing on the cake.

I was a little annoyed that they went right to Michael after the race and not Bryan Herta. We've heard enough from Michael.

A sold-out crowd one helluva race.

Took me longer to get from where I parked my car to my seat than it took for the race to happen (and I used the "official shuttle"). The transportation left a lot to be desired. But overall an epic once in a lifetime experience. One more off the bucket list.
