This week-end the F-1 boys are in Singapore and maybe Red Bull is sensing an upset as the second practice resulted in Kyvat in P-1 followed by Raikkonen, Ricciardo, Hamilton, and Vettel.

Oh, wow: Mercedes have got to be  trying to figure out why their cars can't keep the rear wheels planted on this track.

I think Vettel is primed to put on another driving clinic ala his Red Bull glory days.

Holy shit, talk about an upheaval.

I agree, no podiums for the Benz boys this weekend.

But I see one of the Ferraris stuffing things up and 2 Red Bulls on podium.

Ricciardo

Mercedes will get it figured out, and there is no way they let Rosberg stay in front of Hamilton when he has a chance to equal Senna.

Ricciardo will pounce, Rosberg will collapse.

Vettel takes the win followed by Ricciardo and Raikkonen. Ferrari, Red Bull, Ferrari. Not too bad. Rosberg finished fourth and Hamilton 18th after a problem. Could this be the emergence of Ferrari and Red Bull into the dominace of the Silver Arrows?

D@mn insomnia! - I turned on the GP & then snoozed all the way through it! :(

Here's how we did:

Hank Kingsley: 8 points - picked the top to steps of the podium correctly
Retroram52 & IndyAndy: 7 points - picked Vettel to win; got Ricciardo & Raikkonen out of position
FortySix&2: 6 points - picked Vettel to win; got Ricciardo out of position
forty_three: 4 points - picked Ricciardo to finish 2nd; got Vettel out of position

Season Totals so far:

IndyAndy: 92 points
Retroram52: 83 points
forty_three: 73 points
Hank Kingsley: 58 points
Fortysix&2: 10 points

Next Up: Suzuka, next Sunday. :)

Suzuka next week, a power and top speed track. We will revert to type with everyone chasing the Mercs.

Engine really means nothing at Singapore. It's all handling. All four Red Bull designs finish in the points is case in point there.

I really though Lewis had a shot. Ultimately, he wouldn't have with that doofus walking onto the track, but if it stayed green and he stayed healthy he'd have been on the fast tires and close enough to make noise at the end.

What a weird and fun race to watch. From the unusual starting grid to Mad Max going from being pushed back to the pits to yelling "NO!" to team orders at the end (a move ultimately defended by his team) it was a lot of fun.

Also when Red Bull goes to Ferrari next year it's gonna be a lot of fun!

I hate night races and I hate tracks like that. No passing, they might as well be throwing candy out to the kids and whatnot since it's nothing but a parade.

Well, when the top three sprint to huge gaps from the opening lights and maintain those gaps nearly throughout the race, you know you have a typical F-1 parade. Not in the IRL!

Yeah, Max is getting a lot of heat in the press for saying No, but I think he's right. If he didn't get pinned behind a slower car, Carlos wouldn't have been anywhere near him.

Kind of makes you wonder what the kid would have done if he had gotten a good start.
