Pick the Podium - F-1 - Rolex British Grand Prix, Silverstone, UK, 2017

This week Formula 1 moves to Silverstone England and last week's winner is leading the pack already in practice. Perhaps Vettel will answer Team Mercs or maybe throw another temper tantrum he has been doing recently. Should be another good race.

Maybe Mercedes drivers won't want to top both practice sessions, 2nd week in a row that one of their drivers topped both sessions then had to take a 5 spot grid penalty due to a gearbox issue

It is almost certainly a coincidence, really clears the path for Hamilton. Mercedes seems to have gained an edge on the Ferrari's the only issue Mercedes has had is their inability to get the super soft tires to work.

It's only those tires too, they get ultra soft and soft to work just fine

Hamilton on pole and this is a race weekend that always seems to belong to him, can't pick against him.

Rain could mix some things up tomorrow though, Verstappen I'm not confident in as he seems to push too hard in the rain and make a lot of errors, Ricciardo's run of podiums will be hard to repeat from the back of the grid even with rain.

I'll go with Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen, and Bottas. Hamilton looks stoked for this race.

wow so both Ferrari's with the same tire failing in the last few laps

what an ending, not good news for Ferrari for sure because Mercedes seems to have gained an edge on speed

Hamilton takes the win on his home track. Bottas comes in second as the Mercs re-emerge in their one-two finish. Raikkonen comes in third for Ferrari followed by Verstappen. Good race indeed as Vettel faded at the end with tire problems to finish 7th. Hamilton has seriously cut Vettel's lead for the championship.
