The F-1 boyz are in Hockenheim, Germany this week-end and we shall see if Hamilton continues to bring it or whether Rosberg gets a boost from the hometown crowd. Should be interesting as usual.

After P2, Rosberg has the advantage over Hamilton but Vettel and Verstappen got within a second of the Mercs. This could be the most competitive race to date.

Rosberg barely squeaks past Hamilton for the pole followed by Ricciardo who barely got past Verstappen. Rosberg had an electrical issue but got it cleared up. I hope this is not another first lap accident brewing between the two Mercs. This could be very interesting.

Amazing they have tossed out all radio message regulations.

And after Nancy squeaked out that pole under double yellows last week, double yellows now mean red flag. Kind of like soccer, 2 yellows = 1 red...

It's a free for all now.

I've never been a fan of moving targets in season.

And red flags have the ability to effectively end sessions depending on time left in them.

Q3 has an accident at a place like Spa with anything less than 4 minutes and it is pretty much over. One warm up lap, etc...

Unless they come up with the F1 equivalent of Green White Checker like NASCAR.

I'll go with Hamilton, Rosberg, and Ricciardo.

Presently at the halfway point, Hamilton leads Rosberg by 7 plus seconds and Rosberg is 3 plus seconds ahead of Ricciardo but Nancy has a 5 second penalty in the pits for another mistake on the track and Ricciardo is absolutely flying. Verstappen is fourth and with the Rosberg penalty may get into the top three.

The order is now Hamilton, Ricciardo, and Verstappen and Red Bull has made in-roads into the Mercs dominance aided by Nancy's screw-up again.

Just 15 laps remaining to this one and Rosberg is fourth.

Ricciardo has cut into Hamilton's lead but does he have enough time to catch and pass Hamilton.

Both Haas teammates are doing well going into F-1's summer break.

Massa is out. DNF.

One Haas car is 12th and the second is 14th. Not too shabby.

Guttierez is 12th and Grosjean is 14th.

The order is Hamilton, Ricciardo, and Verstappen with 10 to go.

If Riccicardo and Verstappen finish 2-3, that will put Red Bull ahead of Ferrari in the constructor's championship. Perhaps Ferrari has dropped the ball again.

Haas now occupies 12th and 13th as Grosjean passed Magnusson.

Ricciardo is slowly chipping away at the Hamilton lead but he is not going to have enough time to catch and pass Hamilton with 5 to go.
