Well this is the finale. Can Rosberg hold off Hamilton for his first F-1 title repeating what his dad accomplished? We shall see when the F-1 boyz show-up at Abu Dhabi. Also, we rap up our own "pick-the-podium" contest for yet another year. Should be fun and good luck to everyone.

Hamilton takes practice number two by just a whisker over Rosberg followed by Vettel and Verstappen. We shall see about qualifying tomorrow.

Hamilton takes the pole for Abu Dhabi followed by Rosberg and Ricciardo. Also, an extra three points to the contestants on here for correctly naming the 2016 F-1 Champion.

My last picks of the year are: Hamilton, Rosberg, and Ricciardo with Rosberg getting his first championship.

Vettel is attempting to hold off Hamilton and Rosberg by staying out but his tires are dying quickly.

Well, Vettel had to come in for new super softs and he is really moving forward starting at about 6th. Hamilton still leads Rosberg though.

Verstappen is third and Ricciardo has worked his way back from an early miscue on the start to claim fourth.

Rosberg has caught Hamilton and may pass him yet for the lead.

Vettel is only 6 seconds away from being on the podium.

Wow, Vettel has caught Verstappen and the Ferraris are now putting pressure on the Mercs. Hamilton is really turning up the wick and Rosberg may be removed from the podium and lose the championship.

Vettel just got by Verstappen and now Hamilton and Rosberg are pooping their pants because Vettel is coming!

What a last couple of laps!! Hamilton wins it but Rosberg takes second and the title under the pressure from Vettel who takes third. What a last race. Mercs finish one-two and they start next year with two champions behind the wheel.
