@bksballer89 posted this link in the regular season thread... but I thought it and the Suns in general deserved a thread of their own:
I know it's the regular season. I know intensity isn't always there for any team at any particular time. But I was just staggered by the lack of effort shown in the above clip. Staggered.
And this clip isn't just a bad moment. The Suns have put up several embarassing defensive performances over the course of this season, and are currently ranked dead last in opposing ppg allowed at just shy of 116 pts given up per contest.
Bad stats are one thing, but total lack of effort is another. How are they allowed to get away with this from an accountability standpoint? How can the players look each other in the eye?
And isn't there a risk that guys like Devin Booker and Josh Jackson (the future of the franchise) will be "infected" by whatever toxic environment obviously exists if such horrendous effort is allowed to happen?
What says the hoop?
