Let’s hope the AAA 1.89 De Los Santos shows up tonight rather than the 3.70 DLSantsos from earlier years. I’m betting the 22-year old has learned how to pitch. Phils win 6-2 (or they get blown out 8-2).

DE Los Santos did OK until he tired. Phillies gave him run support. Braves losing. We could be in 1st place by ourselves
tonight!

He definitely had the better MLB debut of the two. His command was a bit shaky most of the outing, more so at the end. Though not in the worst way, usually just went too far outside or high, didn't really leave anything hanging over the plate.

Tonight it's Velasquez, 5-8, 4.69, vs deGrom, 5-4, 1.79. DeGrom is tough. He's thrown 10 quality starts in a row but has got no run support from the disabled Mets who've lost seven of those games.

Which Vinnie will show up for July? April, May, June he was 4.94, 2.30, and 5.81. :noidea:

I don't want to see any phumbling Phildoe action tonight. Go Phillies!

i feel it's not right to judge him by month. like i said coming into this year, he's a guy that'll look great in a game, but then it's gone. he has it, but then it falls apart. it used to be he threw too many pitches, which is still a problem. he has the talent and i'd like to say fuck off to those that say santos should take his spot if he fucks up tonight (which I don't think will happen, but I don't see how Vince is the next cat down).

Pivetta should go down 1st.

that being said, cat still has some stuff to work out. his performance was very off if you contrast it with we gave up half a season of freddy galvis for him.

They’re only divisions of stats. Obviously, he got off to a bad start, seemed to work it out, then regressed in June.
