I am concerned about Hoskins. He is slumping a bit. He struck out 3 times on Friday. Since he is a contact type hitter there is cause for concern. No power lately could mean pitchers are learning how to pitch to him.
On the other hand he could be tired and a day off could help.

The worst manager in baseball must be fired NOW! Mack can not manage the pitching. Even worse, he allows

I think at this point the manager is in over his head. His inability to put a consistent line-up on the field that strategically takes advantage of his roster's talent versus the opposition's weaknesses is a glaring ineffectiveness of this dolt!

My complaint is Galvis batting second. He can't even drag bunt to get on. Good teams can win in so many different ways but Mack does not encourage the team to be aggressive about getting on base.

How true! But they are encouraged to get tossed out at the plate when they should have stayed at third!

Phillies have a poor lineup today. Too many starters are hurting. Marlins should win easy.

The Phillies have been doing much better than the record shows. If one guy, Franco, had been hitting as expected, .260 or higher, the team might have a dozen more wins at least. Overall, he's hitting .189 with runners on. Pathetic.
