That's right. I've always complained about that. He had reached 100 pitches and since the wins aren't vital now, we have to suffer through the clownish relief. There is a silver lining in all of these losses where starters go 5 or 6 innings even if the relievers blow the game later on. And that's the fact that we do have young, solid starters that are gaining experience so that when the better relievers and position players are finally shaken out, we'll have a really good team. Getting there is ugh. I'm guessing one or two of the starters will be converted to short/long relief later on if that's needed.
