Let's go Joseph. Give us a chance. No way the bullpen can keep holding them

Joseph is a fail with the game on the line. Always swinging for the fences. Whif!

That was the one time we needed him to swing for the fences---he just failed miserably, as it turned out

Looks like the dildoes/pathetics are finally here to stay.

There was a good article in the daily news today, retro, concerning Mackanin's inability to discipline this team. Herrera is just one example. After running thru Sammy's stop sign the other day, Mac benched him for the rest of that game (oh, great!) then started him the next day when he promptly got picked off of second. They then made a show of Sammy talking seriously to Herrera in the seats where it appeared the Herrera wasn't even paying attention.

It turns out that Neshek and Benoit don't even want to pitch for this bad team because they'll jeopardize their trade value. Neshek declined to pitch the other day. He and Mac are not communicating. It must be clear to the fans also that many guys are not running hard to first base. Plus one of the biggest problems as I see it is that they're not bringing up the best guys available. Look at Perkins who's as bad as Saunders, with his girlish throw to the infield allowing a run to score. They're supposed to come up prepared. Instead, they need to learn how to play baseball.

Mack is the worst manager in baseball. The reporters questioned him about the mis-use of Neshek and he lied to
them. Neshek said that he was never asked to go out and pitch another inning. Mack is trying to cover
his crappy style and lack of ability.

Did you know that soft-spoken Uncle Pete, as the daily news referred to him, had a 9-year MLB career line of .226/.264 ? Maybe he holds some affection for players in that low range of expectations.

The "Mac" experiment is over but Klentak apparently has been told not to touch Mac or he doesn't know what to do. Who would want to manage this mess when the ownership and FO keep hamstringing people. When a bad team has bad habits like this one, it will be a perennial loser and nobody will want to play for or manage it. This again falls on the FO and the owner who doesn't give a damn about winning as long as they are making money through various sources.

Yes it is true. The Phillies are making money hand over fist. But I believe that the rebuild is for real. Rebuilds
are cheaper than paying for quality players. Next season will tell more. Maybe they will up the payroll to
put a more competitive team on the field.
