Lively did his best against a great hitting lineup and provided the only power for the hit starved pathetics by walloping a 2-run homer. It was gross watching 12-hr guy Joseph strike out with the bases loaded in the 7th. So, Lively gave up 4 ER while three relievers gave up four more. Of course, we can't win them all.

This team needs more impact players. Too early to judge .105 Perkins but he appears less then Altherr. I'll give him till the deadline to show some skills at the plate. Kelly and Blanco must go. I know, there's no pressure for these guys to play everyday. And we're stuck with a hopeless lineup until the deadline when finally Klentak will make a few moves.

I find no solace in knowing that other fans are suffering with their teams lackluster performance.

It looks like Giants have problems similar to other teams that are under-performing - good players but no consistency. Pence has returned from the DL but I don't see him listed in the SF depth charts on ESPN. Guess they're not updated.

I was looking at SF's AAA Sacramento team stats. Ryder Jones looks to be their top hitting prospect with 10 homers.

The Phillies have a crap lineup today. No way they can win with Macks stupidity. Hellickson may pitch well today but will get no support from the bats. The phillies are playing to lose. IMO.
