Mack is a terrible manager. He taxed two relievers and refused to bring in Neshak in the late innings.
Also the Phillies left 14 men on base. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

If we have no competent relief, why not let starters like Eflin who was in total control for 7 innings keep going? The idea that your starter goes 6 and then 2 or 3 unreliable relievers come in to close it out is absurd. Eflin is 23 and despite a 99 pitch count he could have gone at least another inning.

Eflin has thrown three 7-inning QSs in a row giving up a total of 6 runs, with the Phils' relievers losing the last two. A waste of good pitching.

Vinnie gets yanked after 5 innings no matter what.
