Nice Going GAYBE!

Being totally serious, I did like the move to take Nola out. I'm a big fan of keeping our ace's pitch count down. Obviously, 20/20 hindsight, but if we can't count on our bullpen to hold a 5 run lead with 1 out in the 6th inning against a mediocre lineup, then we don't deserve to win.

I'm not so sure about taking Hoskins' bat out of the lineup, but to be fair, the score was 5-2 in the bottom of the 8th when he took him out, so the odds of him getting another PA were fairly slim. Plus, it was Herrera who took his spot in the lineup, it wasn't like some scrub.

Still, man what a disappointing loss. It'll be interesting to see if Kap backs off his gameplay after this.

Yeah, I think that was his first major league game as a manager so maybe he was overthinking. My other question is why is Pedro Floriman on the team? That dude is a career minor leaguer. And why is he pinch hitting instead of 24 million dollar boy, Kingery?
